visited this office today for my first periodontal procedure, and i cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Ashmen. he is thorough, knowledgeable, and extremely kind. after the initial consultation, i had an idea of what the procedure entailed, but was very nervous throughout administration of the novocaine. Dr. Ashmen has such a calming energy that you can’t help but feel comfortable right away. i’m so happy i chose Dr. Ashmen for my procedure, and i would recommend him to anyone who needs periodontal work in the future!
My dentist of 18 years told me that I needed a periodontist. I was very upset. My dentist suggested a periodontist in North Plainfield; I said that was not doable; too far! I immediately did a search of the North Brunswick area. And I found Brunswick Periodontal Associates which got excellent reviews! I visited Brunswick Periodontal Associates for periodontal maintenance. I received a very superficial cleaning, which was not any deeper than prophylaxis that I commonly receive in a general dentist office. The cleaning was not deep enough to be periodontal maintenance, but they charged the service as periodontal maintenance. On top of that, when I called to pay my bill, they charged me the entire amount $185 even though my insurance covers 80%. They also did not mail me a receipt. Excellent staff. The process was smooth right from scheduling an appointment to check-out. Dr. Ashmen is an excellent doctor. He thoroughly examined and provided recommendation for orthodontic treatment.
Can't say enough great things about Dr Mark Schambra. I'm a dentist in the midwest. My mother lives in NJ and needed a sinus lift so implants could eventually be placed. Logistically it was too hard to get her out here. Dr Schambra came highly recommended. Besides the incredible clinical result, I was so impressed with his chairside disposition.
