My 88 year old mother with compromised immune system fell and busted her head open. They left her in the hallway outside quarantined rooms where the patients visitors refused masks and they didn’t even offer a mask to my mother until after 10 hours of being in the hallway, when we said we may want to take her home then she was offered a mask ( too late) they didn’t bring it either! they didn’t change her blood covered sheet for 7 hours. I have never been so disappointed in a health care facility before. I went in for stitches for a knife cut on my thumb. Getting the stitches was fine, but when I returned to get them removed, the APN was so unprepared and clearly not trained long enough. She used scissors to try to remove stitches from a small thumb. She got 5 out of 6 stitches out and refused to remove the last one because she ripped open the cut again and had to butterfly it back closed because of all the blood again.
