Bruins is a hotel restaurant and it is not trying to be anything more than that. The service was slow and the food was expensive, though it did taste good. If you're looking for a convenient restaurant and other options are closed, then Bruins will suit you. If you are willing to leave the hotel, I do recommend any of the other dinner options within walking distance.
Aweful! Traveling through on our anniversary and thought we would eat in the hotel (Hilton). Service was non existent. Entrees were not what was advertised in the menu. Dessert was molten lava cake and was supposed to be served with ice cream. They were out of ice cream but substituted with lemon sherbet without letting us know. Ordered a shrimp salad to go. Found they pre-mixed the sauce and leaves. TOO MUCH sauce, too thick and too salty, I can’t eat it. It’s disgusting. This salad is $30 (after tax and gratitude), I’m very disappointed. Update: as I’m really hungry, I decided to wash off the sauce and eat, after I passed the salad through water I found most of the arugula leaves are unfresh yellow colored
Avoid this place at all costs. Food was absolutely terrible. Steak was Well gone, asked for medium rare, probably got the most cooked it could get. Didn’t mention a sauce on it as well which was awful. This place is garbage and go find somewhere else that’s local.
Appetizer is really good. We had a cod bite. Salmon entree is not as good as the appetizer and it’s really pricey.
