For a place that sells bagels they don’t have bagels when the open. Order a farmhouse and they don’t have the proper bagel for it. Also out of many other replacement. I suspect the bagels I am getting are not freshly made.
Bagel itself was very tasty. No refills on ice tea? That’s quite rare and a disappointment. Had the Herby Turkey, but the tomato (?) spread ruined it for me. Convenient location to UofMN. Table was sticky and had not been washed down in a while. Too bad also because the place was not overrun with customers at 13:00 (1pm) on a Tuesday. Not likely to return.
Very good bagel sandwich place. Amazing flavor. Hangover cure. Not the most economical but still amazing. I ate something called “the stacker” or something. Classic perfect bagel sandwich. I also purchased their twice fried hash browns. It was in the shape of a muffin. It was cheesy and nice.
Food was good and the people was nice.
Would love a local bagel shop on the U campus! Stopped into this Bruegger’s for the last time today. Update: I should’ve listened to three years ago me, because today I had the worst bagel of my life (Picture attached). It’s honestly mean to send this in a bag for someone to open in their windowless cube. 0/5 stars, 5/5 PMS driven carb craving tears.
