Dr. Porterfield is an exceptional physician who generally takes the necessary time to explain details. The business side of his practice is not so gifted. Keep an eye on the bookkeeping section. I can't say it's dishonest. However, I can say it's sloppy.
I have been a patient for over 7 years and have always found the Doctor's and staff to be professional, knowledgeable, understanding and most of all friendly.
Both my husband and I are patients of Dr. Porterfield. I am an RN. Dr. Porterfield is smart, caring and respectful of our wishes regarding care. He listens and offers options. Both he and his staff treat us warmly and I have never felt like "just a number". I am so grateful to be in his care! Jamie Jamieson
