Peaceful, quiet, and very beautiful. Our first time back in 5 years and a lot more crowded but the way the spots are lined out- peace is still there!
Friendly hosts. Cabins are cute, clean, and very rustic.. Very affordable. The view of the mountains from the Spruce cabin is awe inspiring!!! We loved it so much, we booked a cabin for next year!!!
Our favorite "family tradition, yearly family gathering" spot, that my grandparents started visiting many decades ago! Beautiful place, beautiful memories made every year.
It is a beautiful place to see God's awesome outdoors from hunting to sight seeing. The cabins make it special because they are very rustic and makes you feel like part of the old west. But the best part is the Hinger family hospitality and the way they run the ranch. They are beautiful people and are truly interested to providing everybody with a great experience.
Awesome place to stay for vacation. The family is very helpful and super friendly. Enjoyed the area and beautiful views every day we stayed. Our kids loved having the stocked pond to fish in (it’s no fun to go fishing and not catch any fish!). They have a nice wood pile for use during your visit - chop yourself. Ice, laundry, propane for sale. Clean bathrooms and showers for guest use as well. Nice trails near by as well as some great little creeks. Will certainly be back for a future trip! We stayed at Bruce Spruce this past week and it was amazing! I loved every minute of being there. Thanks for making our trip to Pagosa so much fun.
My wife and I stayed here for our first time and loved the place! Beautiful, remote and quiet surroundings. The owners were a pleasure to do business with. We hope to come back someday to stay and explore the Pagosa Springs area futher.
We have been coming here for 37 years! I grew up staying in the National Forest and visiting my grandparents in the cabins. I am thrilled to continue the tradition by bringing the 4th generation to BSR!
