Had all four wisdom teeth removed for half the cost of a specialist and was able feel like myself again the next day, although I had to be careful about what I ate. My mouth didn't swell nor did I feel any pain during or after the procedure, just some soreness. Never thought it would be that easy and pain free, without even having to use laughing gas.
He was very personable and skilled. I went in for a dental exam. He also took out my dental lingual bar.
Root canal. Good anesthetic technique. After the injections, no discomfort, just two ibuprofen needed. Staff friendly. Facilities not that nice, but clean. If you want the bling, Silva's not the thing.
I can't say enough good things about the staff and Dr. Silva. They are courteous, prompt, professional, inexpensive. The office esthetics may leave something to be desired but I would much rather have the great staff and reasonable costs than a beautiful waiting room!

Gave me great service and care! He sent me to an endodontist for my root canal(my tooth was THAT bad) but did everything else. I highly recommend him and will be going to him as long as i live in Austin.
I like Dr. Silva. He is attentive, caring, polite, knowledgeable and he and his staff work well together. The office decor is slightly 70's, but the doctor's knowledge and approach are state of the art.
Dr. Bruce Silva was my dentist in Houston. I am online now, because I am looking for him, even if I have to travel to Austin. He has the best chair-side manners I have ever seen of anyone in the medical profession, and he produced the best results for me, even though I had special problems. I will contact him in Austin this week while I am on Spring Break! AGM
Dr. Silva worked on my teeth more than10 years ago, and he was the absolute very best in care, precision and manners. He wsa in Houston back then, and I have been trying to locate him in the last few years.. It looks as he is in Austin, and I would come there to have my dentrures redone if I have to.
