Very nice man and seems to care. Office staff is responsive. First cortisone shot seemed to work very well, but tendonitis came back. He prescribed a second round of therapy with a second shot and that didn't do the trick. I phoned in and the receptionist asked the doctor and she called back the same day to say the next step was surgery. I heard of another doctor (friend has same issue as me) that was highly recommended by a doc, a friend, and a PT. The new doc needs my records. BEST DR. FOR UNDERSTANDING AND HAS GREAT BEDSIDE MANNERS ALSO HAS AN AWSOME PERSONALITY I HAD HIM OVER 30 YRS AGO UNFORTUNATELY I BROKE THE SAME HAND AND HAD TO COME BACK .I KNEW HE WOULD TREAT ME WELL AS HE DID LAST TIME I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM T O ANY ONE WITH A HAND PROBLEM

Doctor Schlafly performed Carpal Tunnel release on both of my hands. After the op, I have worn my splints maybe four times, before the op, I wore them faithfully for 20 years at night. Now, no more burning, stinging and waking up at night with agonizing hand pain. He is very kind, and has a warm heart, but,... when it comes to his work, he is dedicated and packs a power punch to get you back to normal. He cares and moreover, he cares that his work has made a difference for you.
