I was seen by Dr Krieger along with Dr Hamdani for my entire hospital stay last month with Covid 19 and broken right ankle. He is the most empathetic sincere caring physicians I have ever encountered. As a retired RN, I have encountered many physicians during my 39 years career. Dr Bruce Krieger is one of the most thorough Pulmonologist in Jacksonville. Dr Krieger’s clinical knowledge has proven to be exceptional in every way. If you are treatable, Dr Krieger will leave no stone unturned. Dr Krieger will keep you informed and follow you through every test he has ordered. As a bonus, Dr Krieger’s patient and family communication is what anyone would expect when you pay for a service. Comprehensive and professional. Dr. Bruce Kreiger was my Pulmonary /Critical mentor at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Fl, during my three-year Pulmonary Fellowship. I learned many things from him. He has always been well respected and loved by his patients. He has always been characterized by a smart up to date In our community. He and a few others who trained me would leave them to take care of me.
I agree with LungMasterRRT. Dr Krieger is the kindest, most compassionate, knowledgeable intensivist I’ve ever met. I would not allow myself to be taken care of by anyone else outside of Dr. Krieger, Dr. McMillin and Dr. Blanco. This is a phenomenal team. I do not agree with what the initial reviewer stated. Worked side by side with Dr. Krieger for 3 years. I never once saw him act the way that this first reviewer portrayed him. Hands down one of the best intensivists I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
In terms of his private practice, I cannot review that as I did not experience it. As the intensivist at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, I hold him responsible for my mother's passing. My mother was alert and in good condition, merely awaiting transfer to a more local facility (we don't live in Jacksonville) when she entered his care.
