very disappointed – I was quite disappointed and frustrated with my experience at Bruce Engine. I dropped off a mower which would not start and asked them to "get it going" again. However, I was not called with an estimate plus other work was performed on my mower which I feel was unnecessary. (I could have changed the air filter and oil myself, but I believe Bruce Engine did it simply to run up my bill.) Shocked at Lulu12 review -- must not have talked with the owner..... – I have been a customer of Bruce Engine for 12+ years. The owner and their employees have always been more than helpful in the servicing and/or purchasing of my lawnmowers and snow blowers. I have also taken my chain saws and other small lawn equipment to them for servicing. Their turnaround time has been impeccable. Terrible customer service, unreasonable fix times, surly help, – I dropped my snowblower off for extensive repairs and a tune up. I asked when it would be ready and was told "as soon as we can get to it". I called a week later and asked about the status. The guy actually snorted and curtly replied "It's not even on my radar".
