Absolutely love this practice! I've been a patient for almost a decade after following my sister's recommendation. Besides us, my father is also a patient. I can think of no greater testimony than multiple members of the same family that see the same provider. Dr. Cassel is smart, friendly, compassionate, and skilled. She makes it a point to know her patients and care about their lives, even remembering small details about their lives. Such unprovoked snobbery. Asked if they took my insurance, and before I could even get the word out, NO. She even misheard me! Wow. All a guy wants is some help with his skin cancer. They missed out on a ton of moola from my pasty self.
Dermatologists are extremely hard to find in this area which is the only reason why I continue to go to brownstone dermatology. I am a current patient at this practice and have grown very frustrated and annoyed at their lack of patient service. Just to start, the receptionists are rude, short, and surly. Anytime you call to make an appointment or request a medication refill they act like it is the biggest inconvenience. What an awful business. Poor customer service and rude staff. Dr. Thinks she is a hot shot because located in area where it is difficult to get an appointment with a dermotologist. Read the bad reviews as they are accurate. They are overwhelmed and act like they have a million patients. As if they are not located in hummelstown which has a population of 4500.
The service and care of this office has diminished greatly. I had a spot I asked about on 2 separate visits. I was told it was a scar, a year later I asked again, it was treated with freezing it. With no change I made a third appointment when it was finally removed. Then to learn it was basal cell carcinoma, I was very upset as I had been asking about this for over 2 years.
