I have done business with Brown’s for over 25 years. They have always provided excellent service. This week they outdid themselves. I called Rob to see if they could replace the steering cable on my Zodiak Yachtline. Rob said to bring it down and he would schedule it to be completed by the end of the week. When I arrived Rob determined it was just the cable shield and fixed it while I was there. That is exceptional service, thank you!
1 of the 3 moorings offered was in poor shape and very close to commercial fishing ships. We took another one of their offerings.The shower/bathrooms were 150 yards walking uphill from the store, in the heat and rated in fair condition. For $5 more get a mooring from the Harbormaster. Browns does offer a small store, ice and fuel available as well.
Fantastic staff, super knowledgeable and they always go the extra mile to help solve problems. I have both bought boats (Optimist sail boat) and had boats serviced (outboard), everything is always done promptly and professionally. Once had an engine heat light come on the week before July 4th, they asked me to swing by, troubleshot and fixed the problem while I waited. Truly fantastic experience.
