I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Browns from repairs to watch batteries. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. I’m not after the cheapest price but rather the best result.
Quoted me $79 to resize a ring (smaller). Also told me it would be over a week to get it done. Tried to negotiate to $50 and was rejected . Got it done at a gold shop on Sydney road in around 30 mins, and they only charged me around $32. Too big of a difference to not leave a review. Very disappointing service. Inherited ring, stone had fallen out, 5 months later and several phone calls to ask what is happening with ring. I forgot to pick up when ready after another 2 months I finally picked up my ring. It's no wonder I didn't receive a phone to remind me the ring was ready, absolutely devastating. $295 later, I now need to find a reputable jeweller to fix. If you can't do the job, SAY NO THANKS.
