If you're looking for perfectly smoked- with the fat beautifully rendered- brisket, and excellent mac n cheese, and glorious beef sausage, at a blink-and-you'll-miss-it place in Austin, Texas, you have found it at Brown's BBQ. Every bite a melt-in-your-mouth delight. Each morsel a must-eat. And the BBQ sauce was tangy and great, too. I'm going to update this now, as we have finished eating our way through Austin and inform you that this is the significantly best texture for brisket that we have ever had.
Solid brisket sandwich with chopped onions/pickles. The sauce is sweet and has a great flavor profile to make it a savory sandwich. Ribs were 10/10 with “tenderism” and were exceptional with the sauce. BBQ sauce gives Kansas City style sweetness. Highly recommended!
Wanted some good bbq, got some good bbq. This place was good. Don’t know what the hell them one star reviews were about (competition probably). But everything was great minus them running out of peach cobbler. You get one star deduct on that grounds. Overall, want to run it back when I get back to Austin, Texas. But yeah wallet will be hurting after I pay for my stuff. Thank yall for the hospitality and food.
I’m picky about my brisket and have tried a lot of different top bbq spots in Austin. Love the bbq brisket here, sausage is good too. Excited to try other items on the menu.
