I wound up in Newnan Piedmont five hours after a procedure with Brownlow.
I choose no sedation, when I possibly can. Now, those procedures that I have had done at the Pain Clinic usually hurt while they are being done. I think that it was an epidural, that he did on me. He made me feel so calm about it. He would rub something for pain on my lower back. I would tense up. I will never forget what he said to me,. Never. You are just getting a little anxious. At first i thought he was a good dr. I have taken it upon myself to cut my meds back. He expects you to be honest with him but its ok for him to lie to u and try to convince u that u dont feel what u do. Idk who LaShaun thinks she is but she is not a dr. I made 3 visits in one month, took two drug tests, and left as mad as i could be. I can not stand to be liedto. Im not a pill head and dont like to be treated as such. I also dont need a stupid, uncaring practitioner to act like a dr. She is not
He has been very kind and caring about my pain and takes time to explain procedures that help me.
Dr. Brownlow has opened more offices, resulting in apt changes, not being able to see Dr when needed, less time with patients, and not remembering from visit to visit what was said or ordered. Doesn't listen to patients. Brushes your pain off.
I've been seeing Dr. Brownlow for over two years for workers comp injury. In that time, he ordered a cat scan, a MRI, a neurological evaluation. Dr. Brownlow fails to follow up on tests ordered. I'm still waiting since January 2015 for these tests. He doesn't remember from one visit to next what he and patient talked about. He fails to diagnose due to not following up with tests. He then blames problems as "psychosomatic". Find a Dr who cares about his patients.
I would recommend Dr. Brownlow because he listens. He is very good about caring for his patients. He is concerned about his patients and don't rush them out of his office. If I have a problem he will help me with it. Thank u Ga Pain Care Kathy M Alabama
