What an excellent resource for pet owners in the area! Being relatively new to WV and having 8 dogs at our house, I had visited several different area vet options before landing at Brown Veterinary Service. What a relief to find a vet that we can trust with our furry family. Dr. Summerfield is amazing and takes the time to make your pet feel comfortable in addition to carefully explaining options of care. I want to thank dr.browns veterinary clinic for all they have done regarding my sick rescued kitten. After the Rescue & there vet giving us the only option of putting her to sleep. We knew that wasn't an option. We were right on our way to dr.browns. as soon as we got there they took us right back & started doing bloodwork & giving proper care. A very sick pup needed immediate emergency attention this morning (after ER hours). We were turned away by several Cabell and Putnam County vet hospitals that were scheduled and walk-in'd past capacity. Brown Veterinary Service in Wayne County saw us immediately no matter how busy their schedule was for today. My nephew, his pup and I were given such warm and caring attention. Unfortunately, our girl didn't make it. We were treated like old friends even though we had just met. All of our questions were discussed and answered... read more
We took my mom's 3lb Chihuahua in with bad belly issues and dehydration. We thought the worst, but it was just an infection. They were so sweet to Julio, and my mom. They even kept him for iv meds and fluids. Best part they worked with my mom on the bill because we couldn't pay it all up front.♡ Truly blessed Thank you
The people here treat my 4 legged babies like I want them to be treated... thank you for that!!!
