I live in Indiana but requested to try your caramel cake for my sister's and my birthday two weeks ago and it was delicious! I am a fan, and so much so since I commute on Tuesdays to Chicago, I came back yesterday and tried your sweet potato slice and it was so good! :)
Stopped by on Saturday to get my daughter some cupcakes for her birthday, Red Velvet, Caramel and Chocolate...there was a new young lady working at the front. This bakery is always sowing back into the community. In the adjacent area there were artists and a woman with a display of beautiful African inspired jewelry. Its a great asset to the community and a staple for our family... Please support this establishment, they Never disappoint!

Brown Sugar Bakery is the best! It has a convenient location, chill atmosphere and has awesome coffee and delectable sweets. My husband and I would meet another couple to catch up over cake and coffee. The owner comes around to greet you and makes sure everything is ok. Also the owner made a friend's wedding cake and EVERYONE loved it. Lastly it's a black owned business that is important to support and one we love to support. I plan to go back as soon as I get back to Chicago.
