This woman doesn't deserve the right to be called a doctor, let alone a psychiatrist. I suffer from very heavy anxiety and panic attacks, sometimes coupled with feelings of claustrophobia. On my first visit, I wanted to have my son come into the session with me as moral support, only to have her refuse, claiming that the session was "one on one" only and that he wasn't allowed to come in. Dr. Brown is a terrible Doctor. She makes matters worse and make sure you have a neutral party with you during phone calls and in person visit as she will lie and say you said things you never said. How is she a doctor? This woman is the devil!
Beware. This doctor will refuse medication you have been on for years, make you feel like a drug addict, require a pregnancy and drug test for someone who is NOT pregnant, and then not communicate with your out of network therapist even though I jumped through all the HIPPA hoops and whatnot. She prescribes me 10 .25mg xanax tablets every three months, which is NOTHING, considering I suffer from PTSD. I took the damn test, waited 2 weeks, went to pick up my meds, and then I found BOTH of my prescriptions weren't approved. I ... read more
