Stayed here for a work trip. Extremely expensive for what you get. Room is out dated and not in good condition. We had a fire alarm go off on the first night (at 3am) but were not updated on it at all after it ended. Cool historic building but not worth the long term stay.
Stayed here one night and hotel hopped to the Sheraton the other night which is down the street. Typically I like to think we are easygoing travelers but there were many pieces of our time at the Brown Palace that were less than enjoyable. 1.) At check in, we were told a room wasn’t available, which is fine. We knew we were early! We were told we’d get a phone call as soon as a room was clean and that the titanium status would allow us to get a room faster. We left for three hours and never got a call. Okay not only is this hotel gorgeous and historic, but if you can get in for the Christmas tea time you won’t regret it! It’s decorated amazing. I was surprised that they had options for us celiac folks too; the gluten free sandwiches and treats were delicious.
Its was lovely. All about the food and the hotel.
