My wife and I did years ago and we wouldn't have made it 50 years more with out her help . I know we won't have made it with out her help and guidance.My wife just passed in December we loved her. I think God for her. Earl
Ho-Ho My daughter went to Dr Brown as a teenager. Dr Brown never seemed to get to anything other than superficial issues with her. There was no rapport. Dr Brown was well aware that social issues (i.e. conversational skills) were a problem for her....that's why she started therapy. But Dr. Brown didn't seem to have any methods to address this.
Were the waiting rooms private? Absolutely, they had a private waiting area and a separate exit. Did you feel like this counselor genuinely listented to your perspective? Yes! They listened intently and asked me questions after my explanation Did you feel that this counselor was understanding? Definitely Were you able to get answers to simple questions from this provider without scheduling an appointment? Yes Did this marriage and family therapist answer all of your questions? Yes
This person is the worst therapist in the world!!! I had to seek REAL help once I left her office. I later found out that she works on the side for the attorneys who hire her. Whoever got to her first was the one that got the bias in court. I lost custody of my children because of her and her lies. I am a good mother and my 3 young sons are now in counseling because of her and her bias decisions.I now have my children back after spending a fortune fighting to right what she did without even a glance!! This "woman" is unbelievable. I do not know what planet she is living on. If it is a custody/divorce situation you are in and this "doctor" has been recommended on the advice of an attorney, get out fast. The ONLY person she will listen to is the parent who hired her, the parent that entered her office first. She is little more than working for the attorney of that parent. Do not trust this woman. She is a LPC with a doctorate (which she loves mentioning) in Education. "Dr." Brown is extremely unfair and biased. Attorneys love her due to the fact that whoever hires her first is who she goes with. She is completely out of touch with adolescents and does not fix problems between a parent and child, but creates them. This woman has no ability to read people and she has no insight. This lady is too old fashioned, court orientated, and seems to have memory issues. She sees things one way and has no flexibility in her thought processes. I think she has great potential to hurt rather than help.
