Brown Jug Restaurant Really a bar that serves food, what tastes good week to week, month to month will vary. I had a Club sandwich one time that was great; the next time it tasted like it was made by 4 year old. Fries can be cooked perfect one time, and greasy and undercooked the next. Breakfasts are probably more predictable. It's a college bar. Go to drink. Cheer the team.
Don't Get the Mojito My friend and I went there on a Friday afternoon to get an early dinner and decided to order the Mojitos, which were watered down and small. The food was decent. This place is supposed to be an Ann Arbor instiution but I'm just not sure what the appeal is other than the outdoor seating they offer.
Good Times, Great Memories This was probably my favorite bar on campus, and am not sure if it was necessarily the bar itself but more so the atmosphere it provided to bond with close friends. The bar itself is pretty small, so it always looks full. It's also the only bar open on a sunday I think. Anyway, the food is pretty good as well (great fries). Great Drink Specials Brown Jug is a favorite amongst students as it has some Ann Arbor history and nostalgia (with many pictures of campus and sporting events hanging up), some great flat pannel televisions, and awesome drink specials. While I typically don't eat the food there, my friends and I will go during 8 and 10pm to catch the great drink specials.
