We camp at Cherrystone twice a year and ALWAYS make the trip to the Brown Dog for ice cream!! They have really unique HOMEMADE flavors and their waffle cone ice cream sandwich is AMAZING!!

This place has the absolute best ice cream I have ever tasted (and I've visited a lot of ice cream shops!). I've been working seasonally near Cape Charles for the past three falls, and always look forward to coming back to Brown Dog. The flavors are delicious and very creative, the staff are so friendly, and they love dogs. They even use wooden spoons instead of plastic; very environmentally conscious. :)
