The one thing that I find with Brown Management is that they have wonderful community managers to work with. In working with your community managers, I find that Millie Lawton and Jeanie Shurwin are great to work with.

Although we live up in Canada, my wife and I also own a little condominium down in Scottsdale Arizona. Near the end of February, we were informed a pipe directly under the main floor slab had burst and completely flooded our unit. Dealing with a major issue such as this from Canada, definitely has its challenges. Although some of our personal possessions survived, the units finishings were completely destroyed as the floors inside the unit and on the patio had to be ripped up to stop the leak. I was told via same day email I could get a security fob for our property by "coming by the office". I drove 25 minutes to get there, then to be told- actually- we don't have any- but pay for it now- we'll send it to you when we have one. Basic service and communication consistency may not worry you as staff- but when you waste an hour out of my valuable day and massively inconvenience my guests, it needs to be corrected.

Ongoing issues (over a year now) with next door rentor who has caused actual physical damage to our property twice. While the property damage may not be a specific HOA issue, other repetitive CC&R violations have been/are and remain unresolved. Here is an excerpt from the latest email received from Brown Management: "I am happy to help with HOA violations but this is taking up too much of my time and not and HOA issue."
