I was referred to this hospital by my Dr for an ultrasound of both my legs and feet. It was urgent, Mt Dr wanted to rule out a blood clot. My insurance was approved. My responsibility was $148. I was not told about this until the day of the test. I only had $60 at the time and was willing to give them that and the balance the next day when the 2ed part of the test was going to be done. I have been waiting for almost two hours for a Urine Analysis. The registration clerk Sabrina who is Hispanic, is giving preferential treatment to another Hispanic male. She is skipping him ahead of others that have been sitting for hours. I confront her and she said it's because he only speaks Spanish. I say racism.

Excellent quality, service and Professionalism! Immaculately clean environment. Best hospital for which my family has been admitted. Wonderful Doctors and staff make you feel like family. For Oncology, Dr. Nicholas Tranakas and Plastic Surgeon, John Thomassen, are SUPERB! They have excellent bedside manners.. The Pre-Op Nurse, Joan is comforting and reassuring. I went to the hospital because I was 31 weeks pregnant and was experiencing a high fever and uncontrollable chills. When I got to the hospital they immediately gave me a gown to put on and started an IV. The nurse was really friendly and asked me to give her a urine sample. Turns out I had a bladder infection and bacteria traveled to my kidneys making the right one inflamed. CSMC HIM Department needs revamping. Broward county has a number of credentialed coders who are being overlooked for positions. This HIM Management Team overlooks qualified coders and holds jobs for coders who take indefinite breaks and is guaranteed a job upon their return. They also only offer flex time and overtime to those they favor. This is not encouraging for our county since Broward College has many graduates in HIM seeking jobs in our county.
