Great experience overall. I'm very thankful that Brothers still gives free estimates. It seems many of the electrical shops in the area now charge just to come out and give a quote. (I do understand that professionals' time is valuable, but as a homeowner, it's a very frustrating experience to pay money just for the privilege of paying more money later.) Asked for an estimate appointment. Not being an electrician, I told estimator what I think is a fix, and he said no and kept telling me it was wrong. I said good, this is the type of advice I need, let’s talk proper solutions are then. He was irritated with all the issues I wanted to resolve and grumpily left. I did not end up getting a quote. Guess I should’ve read up on electrical home issues before even engaging? I was open to hearing his advice on what isn’t worth fixing and what is. Feels like I did something to him.
