Low lights and racks of wine bottles create an ambiance that is both calm and inviting. Separate rooms house a handful of tables to create an intimate atmosphere. Mouthwatering cuts of steak fill the menu, along with an array of fresh seafood that will not disappoint. Frog legs are also featured, a rare find in Omaha. The wine list fills several pages, offering domestic and international labels for every taste and budget. The quiet environment is not suitable for small children.

One of the Best Restaurants in Omaha!!!!! The food ,wine selection, and service are great!!! The atmosphere is unique and romantic!!! You are guaranteed to have an excellent dining experience!
wonderful When we went to visit my uncle, he took us out here - the food was wonderful, the atmosphere was quite unique, designed after a monastery. The only drawback was its expense.
Brother Sebastians - A Taste of the Finest in Omaha Considering that all of the waitstaff dresses in monks robes, I was suprised to find that Brother Sebastians was a fancy resturant. Recomended to me by a friend, we were treated to dinner by an out of town guest (a rich one - do you see where I'm going?) ANd we were amazed by the elegance it held. When drive up to it, you get the impression that it might be a church. Especially considering that gregorian music is playing near the entrance. Then you walk in and fi that you a... read more
Brother Sebastian's Steak is amazing! This is a great place to take the family to for a very nice dinner. You can even purchase gift certificates which is a great gift to give or receive. If you don't like meat try their frog leggs or their stuffed shrimp.
We came there last Thursday with a group of 12, they had two waitresses on our party. The service was terrible for a classy restaurant. I ordered the petite filet medium which was almost burnt. My boyfriends food was not even ordered. The receipt was not itemized, as I’m sure it was not correct. Very disappointed in this place, would not go back
First time in Omaha looking for a good steak. Read the reviews on this site and decide to try this restaurant because of two statements one about the unique seating and the other a recommendation to visitors or people who have recently moved here. Thank you for the recommendations, because we loved it. The staff was very, very helpful and friendly. We did not have reservations and were seated on a busy Saturday night within five minutes. The waitress did not hover, but she was there to refill an ice tea, take an order or rem... read more
My husband and I ate there to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. We were very impressed! The restaurant was quite busy but the unique seating allowed it to be quiet enough for us to talk comfortably. Our server Jim, was very accomodating to a couple of special requests and helped make it a special evening. The vegetable was slices of squash. I was initially disappointed as I have never liked them at any restaurant. These were truly delicious! I ate the entire serving. We enjoyed our visit and look forward to another in ... read more

Brother Sebastians probably lands somewhere in my top 20 but it just does not compete with the vast array of really great restaurants around town. My top five: Chinese: Grand Fortune Steaks: Prestige Italian: Pasta Amore Seafood: Toss up between Prestige and Bonefish. Prestige wins out because it is locally owned and Bonefish is not. Mexican: Anything in south Omaha
