I've been going to Brophy Brothers for years and love it - great staff and delicious food and good drinks - everything is great about it. We usually eat at the bar.

I had the Ahi with chowder and rice. It was the most bland meal I have eaten in a long time. I thought it was odd that the server offered tabasco sauce with the chowder but it was clear why after a couple of bites. The crusted Ahi came with a bland creamy sauce. With a little more seasoning and some attention to the flavors the meal could have been great.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for an early dinner and the food was decent but service was less than mediocre! We paid our bill and left a 20% tip despite our disappointment. On our way out my boyfriend muttered under his breath that was horrible. Our female server chased him outside and asked if there's a problem? He said "no." And e continued on our way.
