After MSU gave us a terminal illness diagnosis, we decided to see Dr Chris at Brookside because her and her staff were interested in helping offer comforts to our dog in her last days on earth with us. At MSU and at our regular vet, our dog was treated like a cold scientific project and seen as a dollar sign, but Brookside treated our dog like a living loving family member and helped us offer her creature comforts for her last days. Highly recommend Dr Chris and her friendly, knowledgable staff.
As a breeder/exhibitor, I appreciate Dr. Bruning being open minded and understanding that I am up on the latest health issues with my breeds (Goldens and Pointers) and is willing to accommodate reasonable requests based on that knowledge. She recognizes thatbI know my dogs, and we can collaborate on what is best for them. Thanks, ladies.
Without Brookside my service dog and much loved family fur member Muffin wouldnt be alive today. With her monthly shot and meds shes happy and healthy. Thanks Brookside!!
Definitely recommend Dr. Bruning and her awesome staff! They have been treating my brother's dog for several years and he has had multiple health problems. I recently moved to the area and went to a vet that was closer to my house. But when our dog had 2 conditions that needed to be addressed this summer they either didn't answer the phone or the person who answered the phone said they couldn't get him in because she was too busy . We called Brookside and got in the next day & surgery the following week.
They sent our dog Pebbles to Animal control because they couldn't do their job and look up her tags, which we get from them by the way. So because they neglected to do their job they assumed our dog had rabies and sent her to Animal control.
