Kurt Skinner told me I was experiencing an episode of floaters that would resolve, completely failing to diagnose a badly torn retina. It wasn't floaters atball. It was blood. The retinal surgeons were flabbergasted that he failed to detect what one of them called a "humongous" tear. Numerous surgeries did not restore my vision in that eye.
My experience with Dr. Skinner was terrible. I had a problem with one of the ladies helping me pick out glasses and he called later from his HOME phone and proceeded to yell at me, use inappropriate language, and then HUNG UP ON ME! I could not believe the horrific behavior of this doctor as I have been a patient of his for many years. What professional acts like this? Avoid this doctor like the plague or you might experience something similar to what happened to me.
I have been a patient of Dr. Skinner since 1988, My husband and son are also patients. We drive in from Modesto because Dr. has always given us the best friendly & professional eye care. He takes his time during eye exam and you don't feel rushed. We trust him and highly recommend him.
Dr. Skinner has been our family doctor for over 10 years. Always have received the best and most concienrious care from Dr. Skinner and his staff. Each time we go to Brookside Optometry we feel that our eyes couldn’t be in better hands.
