I have been a customer for years. Last year their grub treatment did not work and skunks totally dug up my front yard. Brookside said it was because of the rainy season, but I think it's a lie. My neighbor's yards (both chemically treated) does not show signs of grubs or skunks. They were supposed to restore my front lawn. A technician came out last year and said they would do it in the spring. They started treating my lawn already without restoration. I've used brookside lawn Care for a few years had some problems they resolved them. But this time I had them put down grub prevention and it didn't work. they said there's nothing they could do about it. The skunks dug up my yard and I have grubs everywhere and the lawn is ruined. Now I had cancel my account because I thought we were going to be moving turns out we're not, but even so they did the work, they applied the product and they said we can't honor it because now you're not a customer of ours that's some BS as far as... read more

Wow ! First complaint in 15+ years and a request to adjust our last $260. payment because their Tech went so "abnormally fast" that he missed several large areas , was explained to the supervisor .Instead , the supervisor (*****************) said "we are too particular" , offered no fee adjustment , and she said " they will no longer provide services to us" What ! After being their customer for 15 years' , customer care and concern has significantly changed , for the worse .

A MAN WHO LIVE'S DOWN THE STREET CAME TO MY HOME TO ASK ME WHO TAKES CARE OF YOUR YARD , HE SAID YOUR LOOKS THE BEST ON THE STREET.SO I TOLD HIM BROOKSIDE LAWN CARE. AND GAVE HIM A FLYER WITH ALL THE INFORMATION WHAT THEY DO . BEEN WITH THEM 7 YEARS AND GREAT SERVICE .TOLD HIM ABOUT THEIR BUG BAN PLAN . I cancelled my service on 2 properties and they came out in completed a treatment. I called immediately and took about 5 days for response. The rep agreed that I cancelled but the system changed the status so they came out. She said nothing could be done but had no explanation. I called today and offered to pay for renewal for the entire year b/c didn't want outstanding **** but as I had in the past wanted my 6% prepay discount. I started with Brookside almost 2 years ago. At first I only asked that they only treat the front, and sides of my house. Then I decided that I wanted the back done too. When I called to add the footage, they added it but they were not treating the back. After another phone call, they started.Fast forward to fall of 2021 MY wife and I decided that we were going to kill our lawn and start over. So I called to cancel services. I had Brookside Lawn Service come out on August 1, 2019 to spray for weeds. They came out again 2 additional times and I called them to say I won't be using Brookside Lawn Service ever again. I talked to a girl who supposedly took down the fact that I don't want you back in my yard Ever Again. She said she would inform "whoever" she had to inform. Had them for 4 seasons. I cancelled in writing 2019 season in February as their policy sates. They still came out and treated saying they left me message saying if I don't call they will treat, not sure why they would after confirming they received a written request to cancel. I guess they don't cancel accounts even if you follow their guidelines for cancellation process. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!!! Once they get your phone number they will never leave you alone! I called them once 6 years ago to get a quote on lawn service and they have not left me alone since. At first I did not mind as it was occasional and at the time I was always open to new service if the price was right. But 4 years ago I moved to a new home where my lawn service is taken care of for me, literally I don't have a lawn to take care of anymore.
