I have worked with Valerie Dubois for many years now. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kendra in group therapy for a couple years, as well. I loved the group DBT therapy and the way that Kendra led it. I’ve since “graduated” the group and have continued to use what I’ve learned. It has been life saving. If you are looking for a couples therapist that is going to choose sides and determine that is right or wrong according to her life experiences you should go to Leah Krieger. What I was looking for in couples therapy was help to see my partners side of things and for him to see mine. She made me feel attacked. She often used her own relationship as an example of what things should be in mine. Completely disregarded my trauma. This has been my worst experience in therapy ever. I would stay far away from this group. They charged me $150 for a no show appointment that I scheduled 5 months prior. It might be fair if I ever met the counselor or re-scheduled after the counselor cancelled our session (twice) but none of that occurred. They re-booked automatically without consent or verification of the appointment. I continued to receive passive aggressive text messages stating "looking forward to seeing you in a few", "I have you down for x", etc. It was completely out of the blue and it felt like they ... read more
