Overall nice apartments with beautiful finishes. Location is great for commuting to downtown, and there's a grocery store nearby which is nice, however there's only two restaurant options nearby. I would say my biggest complain about the unit was that the windows seemed to be poorly insulated. There was always a draft especially on windy days, and during the winters it would get really cold. Staff was nice, and maintenance issues were solved in a timely manner.
Overall the build of these apartments are beautiful, based off of the square footage and location, the rent is reasonable. Neighbors seem to be nice and honest people. I've seen people leave notes on the community board if they ding other cars, find lost items, etc. Lots of families, older folk, and young couples. They may look pretty on the outside, but the property management is absolutely horrible. I had a male who was harassing me, and making up lies about me to my landlord, I tried to tell them I am not even home 60 hours a week. Then they told me they evicted this man who wouldn’t leave me alone, only to find out they did not. He moved into a different place on the premises. We were at Brookside for 5 years and would of remained here if we were not moving out of town. The complex is phenomenal! Units are clean and modern, communication is great - any time there was an issue it was fixed quickly, and the neighborhood is beautiful. It is easy and comfortable living. Would highly recommend this complex to anybody in the Lincoln area!
