Great little tavern. We arrived at 5:15P, grabbed a couple seats at the bar. Received menu and place settings immediately. There are maybe a dozen tables/booths which were all full. Within minutes the bar was full, too. Kaitlyn was friendly, helpful and very efficient keeping pace with the growing patrons. I had a delicious burger with cheddar cheeze and fries, hubby had deviled eggs. Everything was tasty. Drinks made just right and ice cold beer. 3 TV sets for entertainment. Would definitely go again.
I came in during weekend lunch rush & was luckily able to immediately sit down at the bar. This was my first time here & staff were so sweet & attentive amidst the chaos. Waitress Ariana is a gem. My sandwich & chips with the Blue Ridge Parkway cocktail were so good. The place is quaint but with that busy tavern environment. Certainly a nice option to have downtown.
We got our food after an hour sitting and waiting. Fries were like rubber( cooked last week ) very pricey- I got 6 shrimp for $18. This places over charges and then charges you more to use a credit card. I should have known this place was bad when there was only a few people there for Saturday night dinner. I don’t think this joint will be there for long…….
