The final word in Analog High Fidelity! Rick, Shiela, and Joe all treated me like a king. And my VPI never has sound so pure and true as it now does with my Soundsmith Zephyr.
I just had them put a new Soundsmith cartridge on my 30 year old Sota Sapphire. Well needless to say after 30 years the platter bearing needed re-greasing too, and luckily they had a new thrust bearing on hand to replace the old flat-spotted one. The new cart is still breaking in, but sounds great so far, and my old alignment troubles are over too.... It tracks so quietly in the groove between songs. I'm very happy with the setup.
