Brooklyn's pizza The pizza here is wonderful. I think the cheese and sauce make it stand out above the big name chains. Prices are also very reasonable. The only complaint I have it that I wish they put more pepperoni on their pepperoni pizzas.
HORRIBLE FOOD!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Brooklyn's Pizzeria (Allen, TX) had very friendly staff and speedy delivery. However, that is where the "kudos" end! We ordered a 12" medium pepperoni pizza and individual size lasagna. Total cost of these 2 items including tax, delivery charge & tip, came to $26.00. The pizza was very doughy and pepperoni barely cooked. My starving husband took one bite and said a few "choice-words" and threw the entire pizza in the trash can. Great crust! Great toppings! In order for a NY style pizza to be good, the crust needs to be crispy and the toppings need to be soft (not burned). I tried Brooklyn's today and it brought back memories NY (Ray's Pizza). I loved it and will definitely be coming back often for a a slice during my lunches.
Not good For the price, I thought I would be getting a top notch pizza. It was not very good and the cost was outrageous. The store is clean and they were friendly, but I won't be going back.
The food was ok but something I saw wasn’t. This only pertains to 2 employees. One I assume was the manager and 1 other employee. The manager was not friendly and never I actually saw her run her fingers through her hair and wipe her face and then handle food without gloves or washing her hands. Also I saw her and another employee actually pick food from a pizza that was in the process of being made prior to going into the oven and eat it. These things happened in plain view. It was soggy and tough. The meat pie is precooked and not made fresh to order.
Used to be better. Tonight we had a half cheese with chicken and half pepperoni/bacon/olives/etc. ingredients were thrown on in a few places like someone was in a hurry and didn't even look(care), cheese bread missing cheese on a quarter of it. Our other pizza, the Bronx also had sparse ingredients in places, like no sauce in spots. Will post same review with pics on Yelp.
