I have no idea why this place has so many bad reviews over the years. But I can only speak from my experience as a parent.For the past few months, My son has entered his teen phase and desperately needed therapy. I was looking at many places before I felt comfortable here, I decided to call and make an appointment. I started coming to BCFC back in 2017 for my then 5-year old and got kind, caring therapy for my child. Since then, I have received therapy there myself, as has my other child (now age 11), with both kids working with both psychiatrists and therapists at various times throughout their lives. When I first started there, I agree with the reviews about the front office staff. It was a real problem. The therapist wasn’t helpful for my son, didn’t follow through. Sometimes wouldn’t send the link for virtual meetings. Would punish my son for something I told him is a huge part of the problems with my son. Overall was absolutely no help. Even if it was the therapist fault for being late (no link sent) he would still abruptly end the call at the exact schedule time not a minute later no matter where my son was mentally.
