Maintenance is always super friendly and always available to help!
I am not one to ever leave reviews but this needs escalated and discussed. I have been a resident at the brookland apartments for 2 years. The elevator has become a major issue . It goes down every couple months and leaves you having to take the steps for weeks. The last occurrence took 3 weeks to fix and when finally fixed broke down a day later. There is no backup elevator in the building and if you carry heavy items to your apartment or have any type of physical ailment you are sol. For paying $2400 in rent I expect more ... read more
My wife and I recently spent a year at Brookland SC Apartments and have mixed feelings about our experience. Pros: Location: The complex is situated near downtown Columbia, restaurants, making it convenient for daily commuting and dining. Amenities: The pool and gym are well-maintained and provide great opportunities for relaxation and exercise. Community: The staff isnt very friendly. They are nice but not friendly nor responsive but they are a very young staff. We didn’t feel the people/neighbors here to be super welcoming... read more
I have lived in the Brookland apartments for about 5 months now and have had a great experience! I was able to use the pool all summer, which was always kept clean and is a great spot to hangout at. The staff has also been very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend
Moved in recently & everyone has been so nice! I’ve had large furniture deliveries made not directly to my door & maintenance had helped carry those up to my apartment. Had a wasp nest in the patio, maintenance was there the next day. Overall turnaround time in questions or really anything is quick which I appreciate. As per area, safety is definitely there in the buildings and staircase. Location itself is convenient to many spots. Overall a really nice spot with great staff. That combo is hard to come by.
