Things tent to go missing after maintenance repairs
Recently had my watch stolen during a “routine check “ and no one seems to know what happened to it Multiple times I came home to a unlock door and once a master key left on my door
I strongly recommend avoiding Brookland/Four W. The apartments themselves are fine, but the management is a nightmare. They don’t answer emails or calls, and when you move out, they’ll find ways to keep your entire security deposit AND bill you for more. If you don’t do a detailed walk-through and document everything with photos, they will take advantage of you. I tried disputing the charges with proof, but they refused to respond. Renters, beware.
My move in experience has been excellent from start to finish. The entire process was smooth and well-organized, which really helped take the stress out of moving. A special thank you to Haley she went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and comfortable. She was patient with all of my questions, quick to respond, and made sure everything was ready for me before I even arrived. My wife and I lived here for two years while she finished her residency at USC / Prisma. We've both had to move a lot for our jobs, so we have experience with large rental buildings in cities. This was by far our worst experience. Pros: 1. The location is great, and is the main reason why we chose Brookland. 2. The on-site maintenance team was the best we have ever experienced.
