Long Island Community Hospital employs the most unprofessional people from the emergency intake/receptionists to the emergency room attending physicians/doctors, on Long Island. I have NEVER experienced such disrespect and unprofessionalism before. As long as they feel they have the upper hand and can talk and treat you how thy want, they're good. I can’t express the amount of gratitude I have for LICH hospice. They gave my family and I a sense of relief while caring for my father up until his passing in June of 2021, this was our first ever experience with caring for someone with cancer as well as someone on hospice care. The staff is beyond exceptional and helped my family and I with this life changing experience, we are so grateful for each and every one of them. Thank you.
