Snowden Bridge I bought a Brookfield Home in Virginia and my experience is a complete opposite to what I've read so far. I purchased north of Winchester in their new Stephenson neighborhood. The Worst Sales Manager, Ever This past summer, I purchased a home in Brookfield's Saranac Community. I would take the decision back in a SECOND because of their Sales Manager who can be best described as a liar and a bully. I cannot say enough how unprofessional this individual is, and how poorly he handled each and every situation during the approximately one year I've had the displeasure of knowing him.
What a Mistake. Maybe You Can Learn From It. The entire construction process seemed unsupervised in regard to getting things right as opposed to fixing mistakes. The utility room was built with 22" passageway which removed use of considerable storage space from our home. The workers used basement sump-pump reservoir as a urinal. The workers left urine-filled drink containers in yard. The workers left cigarette and cigar butts on floors during construction. Similar experience as previous reviewer with Brookfield Homes We just occupied our home in Gainesville 3 weeks ago. They still have failed to fix a lot of items found in the pre-closing inspection, and as noted in the previous review - often their attempts at fixing things makes things worse than before.
AWFUL construction and customer service We spent almost $1 million to get a home full of problems. We have occupied the home over 6 months and STILL haven't completed the pre-close items. And, the repairs that are made are terrible - and often worse than the original problem.
