Excellent surgeon. She was patient, thorough in answering my questions and she went above and beyond in my care. I received a STAT referral to her after an O-RADS 5 rated cystic tumor was found on my ovary, causing intermittent ovarian torsion. Dr Schlappe saw me in office twice in quick succession and ultimately ended up expanding her schedule to perform my surgery as quickly as possible since I was in pain. I learned a vary valuable lesson of how to advocate for yourself after being a patient of Dr. Schlappe. She was quick to the knife, disregarded my personal circumstances, and had judgmental beside manner for the few minutes she was around. A good reputation only gets you so far — be wary of this one.
