The worse place ever. Never answer calls. Or return messages. Went to pick my mom up after three weeks she still couldn’t stand. No one would even help me get her up. She was filthy with food and smelled of urine. Please if you love your people go some where else.
I have volunteered here several times and the staff and leadership are wonderful. It’s beautiful to experience. I highly recommend!!
My mother was in the memory care facility here. Read my review on Yelp about this place. Do your research before bringing a family member here. Check the Health and Human Services website or The Department of Aging and Disability and look into the citations they have received from the State. My mother’s case was not an isolated incident. DO YOUR RESEARCH!

They took really good care of my mom after she did not reach her goal of walking while at HealthSouth. I moved her to Brookdale Tanglewood to get her closer to me, and they have taken really good care of her also.
Too few well qualified personnel. Food selections poor for elderly patients unless you can live on turkey or grilled cheese sandwiches. A few bright spots- an aide named Florida and nurses Rose and Kathleen. If Brookdale Willowbrook would use these three as guides on hiring personnel, they would be a stellar organization.
The staff for the most part was kind, compassionate snd competent. The food was great. The physical therapy and occupational therapy staff are quite knowledgeable and work lovingly with all the patients. I would never hesitate to refer a loved one to Brookdale Willowbook.
