RecommendedI would like to recognize Kim Shaver, at Brookdale West U, for her forward planning regarding the residents under her watchful eyes. In the early days of this difficult situation, while many leaders were waiting and wringing their hands, she began policies to protect our loved family members. It was and is not easy and surely does not "please" everyone. Hard decisions and choices had to be made. I believe Kim has demonstrated exceptional leadership in dealing with this crisis. We’re struggling a bit with new protocols to avoid the COVID19 pandemic from reaching us. The staff is being very supportive. I can’t wait till it’s over, because I have really enjoyed being here.

The environment-the feeling of being in the country, the location, the variety of residents. The truly wonderful staff from the Front Office, the kitchen under the "spoon" of Chef Jose(great menus) and dining room, housekeeping, maintenance, and the "firecracker" activities director Linda and side kick Asha. Well done all.!
I live out of town and lived here for 6 months, while undergoing cancer treatment, I truly felt the sense of community. I met some great people and made some wonderful friends. Whenever I wanted something to do there was always an activity going on. Lots of parties and fun with staff and residents. When I wanted to get out and have conversation, I could always find people down by the pool. I enjoyed my time here, I still go back and see friends, attend a happy hour or party. This is a great place to live.
I have been with them for 4 years and I just love it. My Aunt and Uncle several years ago. The social events are wonderful, fun and always a good time. I cherish my time here with my Aunt and Uncle. We enjoy making our traditional Italian desserts when I visit with them. The chief who creates meals does a fabulous job! I have tried the aerobics class with my Aunt and had a great time.
