I called the 800 number, they took my information and told me the appropriate person would contact me. That was two months ago. My mom would have died if she stayed here any longer. We moved my mom to a higher level of care when we came to visit and she was on the floor with her beeper beeping. I walked around the facility (2 caretakers for the entire facility). My frail, elderly father in law who has been diagnosed to lack capacity with moderate dementia called Brookdale from the current assisted living facility he resides at. He exhibits many common behaviors of dementia, including wanting to move anywhere else but his current facility. We also have a guardianship in process with the courts. Unknowingly to us, Brookdale sent their bus to pick him up and take him to “tour” their facility without letting anyone know! Love this assisted living community. The administrator is the very best. All employees are caring and professional. One big happy family!!!!!!!!
I moved my Husband here after a bad experience at different facility in Sachse. It is like the difference between night and day. The staff at Brookdale are all friendly and well organized. It is clean, the food is tasty as well as nutritious and they have a beautiful enclosed courtyard with a lovely garden with bird feeders and wind chimes that the residents can enjoy at any time.
