Brookdale Summer Ridge is a wonderful place for anyone’s loved one. The facility is clean anytime of the day I have visited and that is often. I am always greeted when I entered the building by Brittney , Deanne, Kennedie or Tyler with a smile. Kayla the activity director is constantly engaging the residents in activities. I can truly say I would not hesitate to refer my own family to Summer Ridge with confidence they would receive excellent care.

This place will take your money with easy kind words to get there commission. My mom kicked in two weeks of living there to make her move out over saying she wanted to kill the turtles in there scenic outdoor area for their clients to go out into. She had Alzheimer’s in UTI issues and they told me I had to have her out that day. No notice seemed like a really nice place. I still can’t believe they were the way they treated my mother.

I called the 800 number, they took my information and told me the appropriate person would contact me. That was two months ago. My mom would have died if she stayed here any longer. We moved my mom to a higher level of care when we came to visit and she was on the floor with her beeper beeping. I walked around the facility (2 caretakers for the entire facility). I found one caretaker and she told me she knew my mom's beeper was beeping but she first had to dump trash in her half of the building then she would check on my mom... read more

My frail, elderly father in law who has been diagnosed to lack capacity with moderate dementia called Brookdale from the current assisted living facility he resides at. He exhibits many common behaviors of dementia, including wanting to move anywhere else but his current facility. We also have a guardianship in process with the courts. Unknowingly to us, Brookdale sent their bus to pick him up and take him to “tour” their facility without letting anyone know!
