I moved my Husband here after a bad experience at different facility in Sachse. It is like the difference between night and day. The staff at Brookdale are all friendly and well organized. It is clean, the food is tasty as well as nutritious and they have a beautiful enclosed courtyard with a lovely garden with bird feeders and wind chimes that the residents can enjoy at any time.
My mom would have died if she stayed here any longer. We moved my mom to a higher level of care when we came to visit and she was on the floor with her beeper beeping. I walked around the facility (2 caretakers for the entire facility). I found one caretaker and she told me she knew my mom's beeper was beeping but she first had to dump trash in her half of the building then she would check on my mom. Seven ER hospital trips for falls in five months. We moved to a higher level of care and they refuse to refund paid rent. I ha... read more
My Mother was at Brookdale in Rockwall 4 months in 2025. After moving in, her health started failing and she required much more care. The employees taking care of my Mother were wonderful and really treated her like she was their grandmother. The problem was lack of employees to care for the residents. A week before she passed away, I was there visiting her for a few days (I live in Oklahoma) and at that point, Mother needed alot of help that she was paying dearly for. My dad started living at Brookdale four years ago. He is very happy and loves all of the residents and employees. Everyone is kind and take very good care of him. It helps my sister and I to sleep better at night knowing that he is taken care of. Thank you, Brookdale!
