Excellent food and wonderful service
From the moment I started looking for the right place for my mom, I felt the warmth and the can-do effort from the staff at Smithfield Woods. They were flexible and helpful every step of the way. They understood that this was an incredibly difficult step for my mom, but also for me, and provided some very comforting photos in the first few days when I was so worried about her adjustment. After my mother passed, we were charged an extra day past the week into the next month. No compassion, just wants our money.
This facility should be ashamed of the filthy conditions in every apartment within the complex. Every horizontal surface was full of months of accumulation of dust. The carpet was so filthy and disgusting, it wasn't fit for a RAT... The director of the facility is NOT doing a adequate job on all levels, so unprofessional and a horrible communicator. My mom been there for 3yrs now was great at the beginning. Now she is in memory care ,started off good .But very understaffed, and it shows with the care of there patients. This is were they need more help and there not getting it.But trust me were paying for it.This needs to be taking care of.Or you will losing more patients.
