RecommendedI was a personal service provider. When I came there everyone was so wonderful. Residents and staff. It’s a very nice place and the residents are happy. Years later I went back and the same staff were there. It’s a great environment.
I've been working at Brookdale Shawnee for almost 2 yrs and I've enjoyed it. It's a wonderful place to work. The work environment is great. But most of all the residents are the BEST......❤
This location is run by Vicki. She allows people that have committed felonies to work there. A nurse (Candice) took home a liquid narcotic and refused to return it until the next day. Corporate instructed Vicki to terminate this person but she didn’t. An aide had left bruises on residents was supposed to be fired but was allowed to continue to work there. This location is a poorly run facility, and I don’t recommend it!!!!!
I feel blessed my mother is in such a loving place. There are no words to describe how appreciative I am to the staff at Brookdale. What an amazing group of people!! All I have to say is Thanks for loving my mom!! She is very precious to me!!
My mother passed away on May 29th and was a resident of Shawnee Brookdale since July 10th, 2016. The staff is amazing. They become a part of your family. They have so many activities for the residents. The last week of my mother's life they cried with us, loved on us and made sure we had everything we needed to make it a bearable time. To the staff of Brookdale a JOB WELL DONE. We love and miss you.
