My Mom has been here since December 2018 after being in another facility since 2015. I can't begin to tell you how my stress level has gone down since I have moved her here. EVERY single person who works here really does care and it is shown EVERYDAY by their smiles and helpfulness. I appreciate them so much for the kindness and care they show my Mom. Thank you Brookdale Port Orange!

The residents and their families are the best and we have the most awesome associates!
I enjoyed working there but I am truly hurt because I was wrongfully put on non rehireable because the head nurse Lisa knew I was moving back to Tampa and still put me on the schedule and placed me as a no call no show and now that I have my CNA it’s hard to find a facility because it’s all brookdale here and the ED or Lisa won’t help remove their wrong doing

I have a hard time putting into words what everybody at Brookdale has done for my Dad. After 3+ years, he remains very happy there and loves his "apartment". He has expressed to me, on many occasions, his desire to stay in his apartment, and not be placed in a home for elderly people! Dad is able to keep his dog with him and all of his needs are attended to. I have visited him at odd hours (very early in the morning, and later in the evening) and I have never observed an employee that was not busy and/or did not have a smile... read more
