They could make the night meals healthier! Just a cup of low sodium soup and a Romaine lettuce salad would be wonderful!
RecommendedBy far this was the most caring independent living community my wife and I visited early last year. Unfortunately my mother-in-law selected another one. Last fall she relocated to Brookdale, she has enjoyed being here so much, no comparison! At the other employees would routinely not show up. Care givers even distributed food one day, unbelievable. At Brookdale 119th The Entire Staff cares!!!
I am at Brookdale 119th every month. I perform here , I see how happy and well taken care of the people are. Most of them have been there for years, and they look fabulous. I think of it more as a country club atmosphere. This Is community where I would recommend to my own parents.
Great Help and great service
My spouse was not allowed to get out of bed and the wheelchair on their own and when they pushed the call button it would take the Aides most of the time 20 to 30 minutes to get to them. My Spouse did not make it to the bathroom in time and sat in the waste for thirty minutes before the Aides made it in the room and that was AFTER I called and talked to the nurse. That was one of many things ... so NO I would not recommend this particular location to anybody.
