My grandmother has been living here for almost 3 years and has been neglected by the doctors and nursing staff. She ended up with a bed sore and had to be treated elsewhere. She never should have gotten a bed sore. The doctor should have seen her way before but never showed up. This is negligence and will be reported.
RecommendedBrookdale Orland has been a wonderful setting for our mom who has advanced dementia. Staff are incredibly caring and responsive to her needs, understand the process of mental decline and encourage her socially, physically. We looked long for a place of this caliber and have been very happy.
I come to Brookdale almost daily to visit a family member. The staff is like an extended family. they treat the residents like royalty. They seem to know each resident and their likes and dislikes. The Brookdale Orland staff make me very comfortable knowing my loved one is being cared for. thanks to a special group of people.
Both of my parents have resided at Brookdale Orland Park for several years. The entire staff has always taken great care of them in regards to their personal health care. My mom and dad have formed many great connections with the nurses and cna staff. This location is very clean and many updates have been made. I would highly recommend Brookdale Orland Park to care for your loved ones.
Brookdale of Orland Park is currently having multiple issues that have caused concerns with family members and residents. They have had high turnover in administration (5 executive directors in 3 years). This has led to disorganization which negatively impacts the staff and residents. Brookdale Senior Living is a greedy, profit-driven sham of a company. They pretend to be oh so caring for the elderly, but do not be fooled. They care about only one thing, and that is profits. I wish I could give zero stars. I'm sure they must pay their workers peanuts, and for most of them it reflects in their attitudes. They are slow, lazy and surly. Brookdale Senior Living is only interested in profit, not caring for people with dementia. My mother was assaulted by another resident with Alzheimer's. I don't blame him. The residents were unsupervised and management refused to staff up to create a safe environment. Once we started complaining, my mom got evicted for being a harm to others. She was the one who was hit! She's at home now. Brookdale is the worst!!
Sun City, FL A great place to live. Smiles and knowledge sharing is rampant here at Freedom Plaza. Accompanied by god food and a pleasant atmosphere.
