Tonight was Brookdale's Family Night-Holiday Party. It was wonderful! The chef prepared foods were delicious and beautifully presented. Our dining room was very Christmassy and many of the staff were present to serve family and friends. Piano music played softly in the background as everyone enjoyed great food, great service and a joyfully great time!
Mom has visited Brookdale Midlothian and another local residence for respite and has found the staff and residents at Brookdale to be the most friendly, welcoming, and loving! I'm glad we can take advantage of your services. We are happy there!
My mother has been in the assisted living community of Brookdale Midlothian for 9 months and our family is very pleased with the staff there. Mom loves her new home and is receiving excellent care. The staff is very attentive to her and she has made many new friends. Prior to her moving to Brookdale, she had been living at home alone and my siblings and I were constantly concerned about her health and well being. We no longer have these concerns.
If you care about your elder falling, don't go to this place! There have been 59 reports with social services because the staff does NOT know what they are doing. I just read a report where a mother had 11 ER visits from falling here and how the daughter found her lying in her own urine with no caretakers around. If you care about your parent, stay away from this horrible place.
What a gorgeous community with great people!! I enjoyed my visit and was very impressed with the professionalism of the management and the compassion of the team. The residents were warm and friendly- just like the feel of the community.
