We decided to shorten our earlier review, but include the same concerns. 1. Theft. It apparently happens more often than is known or reported. Most recently, a resident's valuable heirloom diamond ring was stolen.They know which staff were on duty, and had been in the room. The Sherrif was never contacted on behalf of the resident, though they did their own "investigation." My Grandpa lived in Brookdale for awhile. They were overpriced, understaffed and neglectful. His room was over $5,000 a month and they didn’t even provide toiletries! 🤦🏻♀️ Multiple times I went to see him, no one had changed his bed. His clothes and diaper were full of urine and feces. I always had to Ask them to do it. When he couldn’t get out of bed, I noticed they gave him water and food but out of his reach. I wanted to take a moment to express how wonderful the Luau was! I found myself smiling as I watched the residents sing, dance, and laugh. Kudos to everyone at Brookdale Lake Brazos for bringing such joy to what can sometimes be a difficult environment. Brookdale has been amazing for my father. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.
My mother in law lives here and we just can't say enough positive things about how well she is doing. We just love all the folks who work here and so happy she's safe and loving life.
